Logitech is trying to re-invent the types of mechanical keyboards by using science. Another piece of their marvelous work is the G910 Orion Spark. The biggest factor of the G910 mechanical keyboard is that it has Logitech's Romer-G switches instead of Cherry MX switches.

Logitech's Romer-G switches fill the gap between standard mechanical keyboard switches and rubber dome switches. The G910 Orion Spark is a fantastic piece of hardware priced slightly higher than expected at $179. The build quality of the G910 is quite good. The plastic housing of the keyboard feels great . The design of G910 is great, it's not too aggressive or too gentle. The keyboard size is well over average.

The gaming keys like W,A,S,D and the arrow keys and the G-macro keys are designed differently and has extra lines on top of them in order to differentiate them from the other keys. The model number is illuminated. A quite large palm rest comes with the keyboard which is non removable. The palm rest does feel great and I don't think users would even want to detach it if they had that option.

A top cover for the palm rest is also included to accommodate larger hands. The palm rest is textured and it's very comfortable for gaming. The keyboard has anti-ghosting technology which will come in handy for gamers. There are five G keys on the left side and four on the top of the keyboard. The G keys on  top are located above the function keys. Profile shifter buttons like M1, M2 and M3 and the MR or macro manager buttons are located on the top left of the keyboard above the Esc key. The windows key can be disabled on the keyboard, the lighting can also be turned off. Media control buttons are also present on top of the keyboard along with a volume scroll. A phone dock is also available on top of the keyboard where you can keep a smartphone. Using Logitech's Arx Control app for iOS and Android , some in game stats can be seen and you can also monitor , CPU , GPU and RAM usage from your phone while fitted in the phone dock, a neat feature that we are happy to see. At the bottom of the keyboard, there are anti-slip pads. The Romer-G switches are quite good . With these switches you are bound to have a great gaming and typing experience. So, overall the G910 Orion Spark is a winner for Logitech. It's a solid keyboard and anyone looking to upgrade their keyboard, this is definitely a good choice.
