Asus ROG Gladius Gaming Mouse

ROG is Asus' top tier gaming product manufacturing part. Their goal is to provide gamers with the best they could possibly want. Their gaming products are some of the best on the market. From motherboards to monitors and peripherals, they are absolutely dominating the market. The ROG Gladius is their latest inclusion to their line-up of top tier gaming mice. The ROG Gladius brings a totally new level of customization for the users. This top tier mouse is priced at $79.

The build quality of the ROG Gladius excellent and it feels very good in the hand. The top surface is made of top quality premium plastic material which doesn't feel cheap at all. The top plastic helps in getting a comfortable grip on the mouse. The ergonomics of the Gladius is exceptionally good. It has great capabilities for all types of mouse grips. The Gladius weighs about 116 grams which is balanced. The textured rubber surface on the left and right sides of the mouse allow for better grip.

 Another great thing is that they have given a proper support for both the ring and pinky fingers. So, Asus have nailed it in the ergonomics department. The ROG Gladius is a wired mouse and it is connected through a detachable USB cable. The Gladius has a 6400 DPI optical sensor. Sensor tracking on the mouse is perfect. No tracking issues are noticeable during gaming. Tracking is inaccurate on white surfaces and glass. The Gladius has six programmable buttons. The scroll wheel is great and it's one of the best on the market. Middle click on the scroll wheel requires moderate force to actuate . The DPI switch is below the scroll wheel which is a great position for it. The two thumb buttons are well positioned. The thumb buttons provide excellent tactile feedback. Asus includes a pair of extra Omron switches which can be swapped for different types of click resistance. This allows a lot of customization. The Gladius has two LED lighting zones. The ROG logo on the back and the scroll wheel is lit up which looks great. But the LED colors are not customizable and they stay red. Different types of effects can be set for the LED lightings. The driver software is gorgeous and it's very intuitive. Inside the driver software, the buttons can be re-mapped and it also allows sensitivity changing. Surface calibration can also be manually changed from within the driver software. So, overall the Asus ROG Gladius is a great mouse for gamers.
