HTC is now one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world. They have been taking a huge share of the flagship smartphone market from the last two years with their "One" series of premium smartphones. Last year, the HTC One m8 was a major winner for them and a widely popular phone. HTC is highly praised for their outstanding build quality and excellent BoomSound speakers. No other company seems to have matched them in these two sectors. The Sense OS skin is also very popular and have done wonders for the company. This year at Mobile World Congress 2015, the look forward to further increase their fame with their latest flagship smartphone the HTC One m9. 

The One m9 is the successor to last year's One m8 and it also looks quite a lot like the m8 from the outside. The build quality is absolutely great as expected from HTC. The brushed aluminium finish on the back looks and feels great.The phone looks absolutely gorgeous and feels like a premium phone in the hand. The power button has been move to the right side of the phone below the volume buttons. The power button also has a textured finish in order to distinguish it from the others. The phone body is very ergonomic. The dual toned all metal body fits perfectly in the hand and feels very pleasing too. The phone isn't very slippery like it's predecessor. The exterior of the phone has gone through some slight changes. Otherwise, it looks pretty much like the m8 from last year which was already a great looking phone. The One m9 is expected to be launched in Mid-March. The phone weighs 157g. The display is a 5.0 inch Super LCD3 1080p. panel with a pixel density of 441PPI. The display is beautiful with vibrant and bright colors and great color depth making images look life-like. It is indeed one of the best smartphone displays yet. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. 

The phone runs it's own HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top Android lollipop. The Sense UI features tons of customization options. This year, HTC have added the feature to include another capacitive button to the UI according to the user's liking. Inside we can see a major spec bump. The processor chip is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and it's GPU is the Adreno 430. So, it packs beastly power inside. There were no lags, stutters whatsoever while running the phone. Everything inside the UI ran buttery smooth due to it's behemoth specs. The rear camera is no longer a 4 Ultra Pixel camera, that camera has been moved to the front. And now, at the rear, there's a brand new 20.7 Dual LED camera. The camera produces great quality pictures which is major improvement from previous flagship HTC phones.The rear camera is capable of 4k video recording. At present, BoomSound from HTC are the best speakers on any smartphone. This year, they look to further enhance their already earth-shattering speakers by partnering with Dolby. The two 5.1 channel BoomSound speakers on the top and bottom front of the phone deliver true-to-life surround sound. The speakers on this phone are hands down the best on any phone. So , undoubtedly the HTC One m9 is one of the best phones you can currently buy and will certainly please you , whatever your needs may be.
