G. Skill is a very popular name when it comes to high end PC memory. The Taiwanese company was founded in 1989.
G.skill has earned massive fame for their DDR3 memory modules, mostly for the Ripjaws, Trident and Sniper series modules. Now, they are trying to gain more popularity and keep up their rate of success through their latest memory modules, this time based on DDR4.
DDR4 has been recently released and it is still quite expensive. G.Skill's Ripjaws 4 series is set to re-define computer memory modules.
With this 4th iteration of the Ripjaws series, they have added a new heat spreader for better temperatures. The Ripjaws 4 modules have memory clock speeds from 2133MHz. to 3200MHz. It also has a pretty low voltage rating of 1.2V for kits under 2800MHz. and 1.35V. for 3000/3200MHz. These new modules have Intel XMP 2.0 support and it's ready for the new X99 platform.
