Aorus Thunder M7 MMO Gaming Mouse

Aorus is a newly emerging gaming product manufacturer. Aorus is a part of the widely known company Gigabyte. Aorus have already made their mark through their incredible line-up of gaming laptops. Now, they look forward to do the same in the peripherals market with their M7 Thunder MMO gaming mouse. The mouse costs about $89.

The Thunder M7 is quite compact. So, for people who have big hands, the claw grip would be the most appropriate while using this mouse. Ring and pinky finger support is available although there is not much space on the transparent finger placement place. The transparent finger rest reveals some of the internal hardware which looks quite good. Thumb support is available and it's quite good too. The thumb support area is made of plastic but a rubberized surface for the thumb support would have been better and would have resulted in better grip.
Two illuminated parts are available at the front of the mouse body. The color on the front parts are blue-purple type color which is not changeable. A transparent window like part is present on the top of the mouse body which reveals some of the internal Aorus LED lighting and the internal lighting also matches the color on the scroll wheel. The primary left and right clicks are quite light and they are easy to press with fast actuation which is great for MMO players ,the targeted audience. The scroll wheel is okay but not outstanding. The scroll wheel isn't rubberized or textured, it has very loose scroll steps and the middle click requires more force compared to other mouses. Same story with the DPI shifter buttons. They are good but not great. The DPI changer has four levels with LED indicators. The are reasonably down below the primary click buttons which make them a bit uneasy to press. In order to change your DPI, you'd probably have to release your grip rather than on the go DPI shifting. The profile shifter button is located on the right. The profile shifter button is non tactile. Six buttons are located on the left which are positioned quite well and they do also feel pretty good. The buttons are really great for MMO gamers. The mouse has an infra red laser sensor with a max DPI of 8200. Tracking is very accurate on almost all surfaces. The driver software does provide a lot of functionality but it isn't that good and the user needs to go through a lot of unnecessary efforts in order to change a setting. The driver software really needs to be improved. So, Aorus Thunder M7 is not a bad mouse since the company is still new. It's a solid choice for MMO players specially considering its price.
