Corsair is one of the best chassis manufacturers out there. They look forward to stun everyone once again with their outstanding build quality and top of the line features through their latest inclusion to their "T" line-up of cases, the 780T. The 780T is the successor to the highly popular 600T and the 760T.
The 780T is available in three colors: Yellow, white and black. The yellow and white versions of the case cost about $189 whereas the black version costs 10 dollars less. The exterior design is beautiful and elegant. It has angular / rounded edges which look pretty good. The internal improvements are minor. Most of the improvements are visible on the exterior. The IO Panel is situated on top of the case and it looks great. It consists of dual USB 3 and Dual USB 2 ports, two audio jacks, fan control , power and restart buttons.
The case stands on wide rubberized case feet. Two easily removable dust filters are located at the bottom which covers the power supply and the optional fan mount area. The bottom fan can only be installed when the bottom hard drive cages are removed. The front panel is dust proof and at the front there are 2x 140 mm. fans included with support for triple 120 mm. fans as well as a single 200 mm. fan . The side panel can be taken off very easily with the opening handle on top of the side panel.
A large side window is located on the left side panel revealing all the important hardware inside. Another removable dust filter is located on top of the case. So, the internals of the PC should stay very clean due to all those dust filters. On top, the case has triple fan support. Fans can also be installed above the frame. Thus, allowing in more internal clearance. Small rubber inserts are available on the fan mount which are helpful for reducing noise caused due to vibration. Cable routing can be an issue if you are planning to install fans above the frame since there are no proper cut outs for cable management. The case has 9 PCI brackets at the rear. So, it has full support for E-ATX motherboards. A 140mm. fan is included at the back with flexible fan mounting strips. The internals of the case is very spacious. The hard drive cages are modular. The hard drive caddies are pretty good and intuitive. The cable routing holes have good quality rubber grommets which are useful while routing and concealing your cables. The case has 3 inches of clearance at the front. So, you'll be able to fit thick radiators at the bottom or the front with the lower hard drive cage removed. There is more than enough GPU clearance at 14 inches. Assembly is pretty much seamless and the finished build as expected looks fantastic. There is enough clearance for cable management on the back. So, the case is an overall winner and it's a great chassis for enthusiasts , modders ,gamers or anyone else who's looking to buy a new case or upgrade to a new one.
